The National Tour of Ain't Too Proud officially kicked off at the Kennedy Center, after cancelling 15 performances due to COVID-19. Performances began on December 28 and continued through January 16.

The Cleveland Orchestra announces its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Award winners for 2022: Joan Southgate, Dolores White, and the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center. 

New York Theatre Workshop has announced that Safe Harbors NYC, Dominican Artists Collective and JAG Productions will join Noor Theatre as Companies-In-Residence at NYTW.

Amas Musical Theatre will present the fourth year of “Dare To Be Different,” a festival of new musicals and special events, from January 27 – February 18, 2022 at A.R.T./New York Theatres (502 West 53rd Street – 10th Avenue & 53rd Street).

The third year of the record-breaking North American Tour of Dear Evan Hansen relaunched on December 7, 2021 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The tour will stop by more than 30 cities across the US and Canada in the 2021/2022 season.

Returning for season 12 are Housewives: Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jennifer Aydin. The ladies are joined by new friend Traci Johnson, who is introduced to them by Melissa. Watch the new trailer now!

The Television Academy Foundation recognizes excellence in student-produced programs from colleges nationwide, and the recipient of the $10,000 Loreen Arbus Focus on Disability Scholarship. The awards ceremony will be held in conjunction with the Foundation’s College Television Summit, a three-day event featuring discussions with industry leaders.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to Columbus with Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in Concert, the fifth film in the Harry Potter series. On Saturday, April 2, at 8 pm, and Sunday, April 3, at 2 pm, the Columbus Symphony will perform the magical score from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix live while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

Hoy es el estreno oficial del musical de Iván Macías y Félix Amador protagonizado por Laura Enrech y basado en la novela de María Dueñas.

El musical comienza su gira en el Teatro Principal de Zaragoza.

The Cleveland Orchestra's free, annual concert in celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. takes place in the Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Concert Hall at Severance Music Center on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. led by Associate Conductor Vinay Parameswaran featuring soprano Jacqueline Echols.

Around the Sun, an episodic audio drama created via remote technology throughout the pandemic, will drop its singular audio-video episode as a YouTube premiere on Tuesday November 30 at 9pm EST.

This December, composer Phil Kline's mobile surround sound-sculpture UNSILENT NIGHT — a landmark in avant-garde public sound art — takes place in more than 35 cities across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Streets, parks and sidewalks will come alive with “a shimmering sound-wall of bells and chimes that is dreamlike to wander through in the December nip” (The Village Voice).

With great sadness, we announce the loss of Edward Allan Baker, beloved father, grandfather, brother, husband, playwright, teacher, colleague, and friend.  Ed Baker passed away on Saturday evening, November 20th 2021, surrounded by love from friends and family, at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport,  CT.
