In 2017 Watford Palace Theatre proudly presents the world premiere musical I Capture the Castle, based on the iconic novel by Dodie Smith, and co-produced with the Octagon Theatre Bolton and Kevin Wallace Limited, in association with Deborah Ward.

A large part of The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's goal has been to bring entertainment for all ages to the Frederick stage.  The area's only year-round producing theatre has done just that with its popular Children's Theatre.  Opened in 1996, Way Off Broadway's Children's Theatre produces shows the entire family can enjoy.  In the beginning, it produced original musical stage adaptations of classic fairytales. 

The original score by Cushing is a surprising gem, with extremely well written and witty lyrics and catchy, memorable music sung with bravado and finesse by the talented cast.

The regional premiere of The 101 Dalmatians Musical opened on August 6th, running through August 10th. Check out photos from the opening below!

The first show A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream, a world premiere adaptation of one of Shakespeare's favorite plays will be performed tonight, August 1st, through August 10th.

Last Saturday, Dennis De Young, best known as the main songwriter and singer for the legendary rock band, Styx, paid a visit to Newtown, CT to watch the rehearsals of 12.14 Foundation's 101 DALMATIANS. He wrote the music and lyrics for this version of 101 Dalmatians and even reworked the show just for this program. Scroll down to see the photos!

Fairies, dogs, monsters, genies, and long-lost sisters make up Imagination Stage's 2014-2015 season of professional theatre. In the season ahead, five very different role models for bravery are explored on stage: a night fairy surviving by day; a Dalmatian couple trying to rescue their pups; a little boy facing his darkest fears in the southern swamp; young explorers tasked with saving their city of Baghdad; and two twins unknowingly separated and reunited in an unexpected location.

Pace University's Pace New Musicals program, dedicated to the discovery of new theater works, and Ryan Scott Oliver, composer-lyricist and producer, will present a staged reading of I Capture the Castle by Marion Adler, Peter Foley and Cara Reichel January 23-27, and its inaugural New Musical Lab, a concert reading of Make Me Bad, by Drew Gasparini and Alex Brightman, which will be presented January 26-27.
