The Segal Centre for Performing Arts launches their 2022-2023 Theatre season featuring four hot new shows that promise to take audiences through a full range of emotions and supports regrowth of the local theatre community by highlighting the very best that Montreal has to offer. 

Adventure Theatre MTC has announced LeeAnét Noble as its new Artistic Director after a nationwide search. 

Riverside Theatres has announced National Theatre of Parramatta’s Australian premiere season of Choir Boy, by the Academy Award® winning writer of Moonlight, Tarell Alvin McCraney. The production will premiere at Parramatta’s Riverside Theatres in association with Sydney WorldPride from 14 February 2023, before embarking on a national tour.

Returning to BAM for a fourth year, the beauty, complexity, and diversity of Arab culture takes center stage in Contemporary Arab Cinema. Featuring stories of unlikely female friendship in Morocco, forbidden romance in Saudi Arabia, and political defiance in Algeria, this series of vital new works from the Middle East and North Africa's boldest filmmakers is curated by Lina Matta.

The Howard County Arts Council  has announced that Dr. Daria J. Willis, president of Howard Community College (HCC), will serve as Honorary Chair of the 25th annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County. 

American Composers Orchestra (ACO) announces that composer Elijah Daniel Smith is the recipient of its 2022 EarShot Readings Commission, supported by Elizabeth and Justus Schlichting.

The building now known as the Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) was donated to TeCo Theatrical Productions, Inc. in 2005. At that time, the 10,000 sq. ft. building was a dilapidated photography studio with run-down lofts upstairs. Staff leadership and the board of directors raised $1.2M in private sector donations and a construction loan, brought in an architect, and completely revitalized the building.

Center Theatre Group’s co-artistic director playwright Luis Alfaro curates and leads CTG’s L.A. Writers’ Workshop Festival taking place over the course of two weekends, September 9-11 and September 16-18, 2022 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Leapin’ Lizards! The full cast and creative team has been announced for the all-new tour of the iconic Tony Award®-winning musical ANNIE. In the title role of Annie is Ellie Pulsifer, a 12-year-old actress from South Florida, making her tour debut. 

Olney Theatre Center announced the addition of The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, a special 90-minute variety show created just for Olney Theatre Center and scheduled to run December 16 - December 31, 2022.

Le Studio TD and L'Equipe Spectra will officially launch Série Libre presented by TD, a series of free shows at 305 St. Catherine Street West.
