Ravinia Announces Casting For Leonard Bernstein's MASS

Ravinia Festival has announced casting for its July 28 production of Leonard Bernstein'sMass. Conductor Marin Alsop has resurrected this overlooked work with performances around the world. This production reunites her with director Kevin Newbury (who recently won raves for directing the opera Fellow Travelers and the spectaculars as New York's Park Avenue Armory) after earning a Grammy nomination for their recording of Mass, which the New York Times praised as 'one of the best events of the year.'

The Fourth of July meets Broadway in the fifth annual concert staging of the beloved musical, 1776, at Feinstein's/54 Below. Showcase your patriotism with some of stage's brightest stars singing numbers such as "Sit Down, John," "He Plays The Violin," "Molasses To Rum," and more, as we celebrate the great sacrifices our friends, family, and founding fathers have made to shape our nation.
Broadway Supports Cancer Patients At Visible Ink's 10th Anniversary Live Performance

On Monday, April 16th, members of the Broadway Community came together to perform in Visible Ink's 10th Anniversary Live Performance, featuring works written by patients from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Led by special guest stars Marin Mazzie and Susan Lucci, the cast and creative team included actors, singers, dancers, and musicians from film, television, and Broadway. The Production was performed at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College, and was directed by Visible Ink's Artistic Director, Greg Kachejian.

Cameron Mackintosh's Tony nominated revival of Boublil and Sch nberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon played its final Broadway performance last night after 340 performances. An invitation-only sneak peak of TILL SOON, ANNE (book and lyrics by Christine Toy Johnson, music by Bobby Cronin) will take place as part of the Dramatists Guild's 'Today Night Footlights' series on January 5, 2018 in New York City. Johnson and Cronin, along with Wade McCollum (ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES YOU), Jaygee Macapugay (SCHOOL OF ROCK), Devin Ilaw (MISS SAIGON), Lauren Elder (SIDE SHOW), Cat Brindisi (THE PASSAGE) and David Darrow (book/music/lyrics writer of THE PASSAGE) will be singing songs from the show with William Demaniow at the piano and David Darrow on guitar.

Directed by Daniella Caggiano and with music direction by Janet Noh, the event will take place on Thursday, February 1st at 7:00 pm at JCC Manhattan on 334 Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side.
