World renowned magician Steve Cohen has announced that his new book, Confronting Magic, will be released on October 15, 2020.

Steve Cohen is proud to announce the 20th anniversary of his show, Chamber Magic. Performed weekly in an elegant salon at the legendary Lotte New York Palace hotel, Chamber Magic features conjuring, mind-reading, sleight of hand, and an astonishing trick called Think-A-Drink. Cohen, the Millionaires' Magician, baffles his guests with magic up close as he recreates parlor entertainment that characterized Manhattan in the early 20th century.

The world premiere of AIN'T NO MO', written by Jordan E. Cooper and directed by Stevie Walker-Webb. AIN'T NO MO' opened just last night, Wednesday, March 27, at The Public Theater.

Last night, Renee Taylor won the annual The United Solo Special Award, which recognizes artists who have made significant recent contributions to solo theatre during the year, for her critically acclaimed autobiographical comedy MY LIFE ON A DIET. Along with Ms. Taylor, this year's nominees included Derek DelGaudio (In & Of Itself), Alison S. M. Kobayashi (Say Something Bunny!), John Lithgow (Stories By Heart), Chita Rivera (An Evening with Chita Rivera) and Bruce Springsteen (Springsteen on Broadway).

Solo performers from six continents will once again unite in the heart of New York's theatre district. Over 130 productions will be presented at this year's United Solo, the largest festival of its kind in the world, now in its 9th year. With up to five performances every day until November 18 at Theatre Row, this year's robust selection of one-person shows will attract thousands of theatregoers. Over 25 performances have sold out in advance, with more expected to follow. The festival will grant additional performance dates to its most popular productions. This year, United Solo also offers Master Classes with world-famous theatre creators and recognized experts, including Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis, who will give her Master Class hosted by Omar Sangare, founder and artistic director of United Solo, on September 16, and Juilliard School professor Janis Brenner, whose Master Class is scheduled for September 17.

 IN & OF ITSELF, the smash-hit solo show written and performed by three-time Academy of Magical Arts Award winner Derek DelGaudio (Nothing to Hide) and directed by four-time Emmy Award winner Frank Oz (Little Shop of Horrors, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Star Wars), adds one more record to the books by breaking the all-time record for highest weekly gross ($216,630.00) at Daryl Roth Theatre, for the production's penultimate week of performances (week ending August 12).  The show is also primed to break the record a second time in the upcoming final week, with DelGaudio delivering the final performance ever on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

IN & OF ITSELF celebrated its 500th performance on Friday, July 6, 2018 at The Daryl Roth Theatre. The show, which has grossed over $6 million to date in the intimate 150-seat theater, is now in its fourth and final extension, playing through Sunday, August 19, 2018.

IN & OF ITSELF, which opened to resounding critical acclaim on April 12, 2017, will now play an additional eighteen weeks, through May 6, 2018.

Produced by Werner Entertainment, Tony Award winners Gary Goddard & Forbes Candlish, Prediction Productions and five-time Emmy & Tony Award winner Neil Patrick Harris, IN & OF ITSELF created and performed by 3-time Academy of Magical Arts Award winner Derek DelGaudio - began previews on April 5 setting a box office record for the highest advance sales in the history of the Daryl Roth Theatre, and opened on April 12 to resounding critical acclaim. Even amidst the most crowded theater season in over twenty years, IN & OF ITSELF grossed over $1 million (in a 150 seat theater) and continually sold-out performances in its ten-week initial engagement, prompting an 11-week extension through September 3.
