Following an initial reading presentation in March 2018, Luna and the Gold River Docks, a musical by Eric Dietz inspired by the documentary The Whale by Michael Parfit and Suzanne Chisholm, will present two developmental reading presentations on Tuesday, November 5 at 11:30am and Wednesday, November 6 at 11am, by invitation only.

Thomas Bradshaw's FULFILLMENT Begins Next Month at The Flea

Thomas Bradshaw (Job, Dawn, Burning, Purity, Prophet) returns to The Flea with the world premiere of Fulfillment, a new comedy that will have everyone shouting. Directed by Ethan McSweeny (The Best Man, A Time to Kill), previews start September 11, with opening night slated for Monday, September 21.

The new Broadway musical, An American in Paris is currently in previews at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street.) An American In Paris is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. Inspired by the Academy-Award winning film,An American in Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time with music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Craig Lucas. Lily Tomlin and Denny Dillon saw the show last night and you can check out photos from backstage below!

Cleveland Play House Opens GOOD PEOPLE, 3/22

Cleveland Play House will produce the hit Broadway comedy Good People, written by one of the most important new American playwrights. Nominated for a 2011 Tony Award for Best Play, Pulitzer Prize-winner David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People takes an affectionate look at the 'haves' and 'have-nots' through the eyes of characters who won't be ignored. Actress Kate Hodge returns to the CPH stage (Dinner with Friends, Bright Ideas) to play the tough-talking, blue-collar Margie Walsh, a role that won Frances McDormand a 2011 Tony Award for Best Actress. Also returning to the CPH stage to play Dottie, Margie's landlord, is actress Denny Dillon (Well), a Cleveland native and former CPH Curtain Puller. Directed by Laura Kepley, CPH Associate Artistic Director,Good People will run in the Allen Theatre at PlayhouseSquare starting Friday, March 22 through Sunday, April 14, 2013. Bay Street Theatre has announced that Murphy Davis, Artistic Director at Bay Street Theatre, will lead the KIDS SCHOOL VACATION THEATRE CAMP February 20-24 from 9 am - 3 pm. Back by popular demand, each week long session will include classes and games incorporating every aspect of theatre: acting, singing, performance, dance & more. Students will write and perform in their own original performance.
