Also March 22, an all-star line-up of Broadway performers united to honor legendary composer, Stephen Sondheim. The evening celebrated the journey of INTO THE WOODS and Sondheim from stage to screen. Performances included Sondheim classics sung by feature film and Broadway talents Lilla Crawford, Tituss Burgess, Lance Horne, Norm Lewis, Michael McElroy & Broadway Inspirational Voices, Abby Mueller, Andrew Nielson, Kristin Olness, Molly Pope, Christopher Sieber, Brian Sills, Catherine Walker, Trevor Vaughn, Michael-Leon Wooley, Karen Ziemba, Chip Zien and more. Monday, the newest production of LES MISERABLES, starring Ramin Karimloo and Will Swenson celebrated its one-year anniversary on Broadway, where it opened March 23, 2014. Read more here!

Monday, we met the cast of FUN HOME, which features music by four-time Tony® Award nominee Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony® Award nominee Lisa Kron and direction by Drama Desk nominee Sam Gold. The new musical begins preview performances at the Circle in the Square Theatre today, March 27, and will officially open April 19. Check out more photos of the cast and set here!

March 24, Lily Tomlin and Denny Dillon saw Broadway's AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, currently in previews at the Palace Theatre, and visited with the cast backstage after the performance. Check out more backstage photos here!

Tuesday, The Public Theater began previews for the New York premiere of Tracey Scott Wilson's BUZZER. Directed by Obie award winner Anne Kauffman, BUZZER will run in The Public's Martinson Theater through April 26, with an official press opening on April 8. Highly anticipated musical THE VISIT, led by Tony Award® Winners Chita Rivera as Claire Zachannassian and Roger Rees as Anton Schell, began performances March 26 at the Lyceum Theatre, where it will officially open April 23. Check out photo coverage from the special performance preview here!

Show business' brightest stars memorialized Emmy Award-winning actress and singer Polly Bergen March 26 at the American Airlines Theatre. Ms. Bergen, whose career spanned more than six decades in films, TV, Broadway musicals and concerts, passed away from natural causes September 20 at age 84. A Tribute to Polly Bergen, produced by Rex Reed and Michael Alden with creative consultant Deborah Grace Winer, celebrated her life and career with a star studded lineup of participants, including Christine Andreas, Harry Belafonte, Arlene Dahl, Raúl Esparza, Michael Feinstein, Gregory Harrison, Judith Ivey, Chris Matthews, Phyllis Newman, Kelli O'Hara and cast members from the 2001 revival of Follies.
