For three decades, the unofficial launch of 'autumn in New York' has been marked by the annual Cabaret Convention of The Mabel Mercer Foundation. This year, their four individual concerts will once again be presented at 6 p.m. at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, beginning Today, October 9thand running through Friday, October 12th. More than seventy diverse vocalists -- ranging in age from seventeen to ninety -- are scheduled to entertain; thirteen of these will make their New York Cabaret Convention debuts during the 2018 performances.

Scottsdale Musical Theater Company has announced Tony Award-winner and Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday (Dreamgirls, The Color Purple) and Joey Lawrence (TV's 'Blossom', 'Brotherly Love', 'Melissa & Joey' , Broadway's Chicago) will lead their production of the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie (September 27 - October 7 at Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, Arizona). Holliday will play Muzzy Van Hossmere and Lawrence will play Trevor Graydon. They will be joined by Marc Koeck ('Tony' in last year's 50th Anniversary international tour of West Side Story.

Charles Shaughnessy (TV's The Nanny , Days of Our Lives , Broadway's Urinetown) portray director Julian Marsh. He will be joined by 3-time Grammy Award-winning recording icon Debby Boone (#1 hit You Light Up My Life , Broadway's 7 Brides for 7 Brothers) as diva Dorothy Brock and rising Broadway star Eloise Kropp (Dames at Sea, On the Town, Cats) as Anytime Annie.
