MAD Exhibition Explores Visual Culture Of Punk Through Over 400 Works

The Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) will present Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die: Punk Graphics, 1976–1986, an exhibition that explores the punk and post-punk movements through the lens of graphic design. The exhibition, on view from April 9 through August 18, 2019, will feature more than four hundred of punk's most memorable graphics, including flyers, posters, album covers, promotions, zines, and other ephemera.

Cro-Mags (Harley Flanagan) Announces Best Wishes 30th Anniversary Tour

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Best Wishes, the second album by pioneering hardcore band Cro-Mags, vocalist/bassist Harley Flanagan will tour performing a set with “the best” from Best Wishes, plus other songs from all over Cro-Mags' career. The tour kicks off at the legendary Lower East Side venue The Pyramid Club, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, on March 12. See below for current tour dates with more to be announced.

San Francisco duo Love Jerks have released their debut album, Million Movies, today.  Addtionally, they have premiered the video for their song “Holding Out For A Rocker” with Ghettoblaster. The offspring of two lead singers—Bryan Garza of Scissors for Lefty (vocals, guitar) and Rebecca Garza-Bortman of Happy Fangs and My First Earthquake (vocals, bass)—Love Jerks was born when these two jerks, yes, fell in love.
