The Atlanta Pride Committee and The LGBT Institute at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights are proud to partner with the Fox Theatre to celebrate the 29th anniversary of the legendary Stonewall Riots, which became a watershed moment for the LGBTQ civil and human rights movement in America. This first-of-its kind event in Atlanta features a comedy show with Wanda Sykes and Tig Notaro at the Fox Theatre today, June 20 at 8 p.m. The celebration continues with a drag show and performance by the legendary rock band Blondie on Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theatre. Local LGBTQ advocate and activist Feroza Syed will serve as the emcee for both events.

AEG Presents, in partnership with 104.3 The Shark and Entercom Radio Group and the City of Pompano Beach, is proud to announce that world-renowned "Speed Painter" Michael Israel has been added to the impressive lineup for #ParklandStrong, A Benefit for the Victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School Shooting. The fundraising concert will take place at The Pompano Beach Amp on May 16th and will feature New Found Glory; Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, playing an intimate acoustic set; and Ryan Key of Yellowcard. In addition, the Toronto-based Choir!Choir!Choir! will unite The Amp in song. All of the proceeds including ticket sales, concessions, auction items, merchandise and sponsorships will be donated to the official Broward Education Foundation Stoneman Douglas Victims' Fund. Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul have unveiled plans for a landmark live tour benefitting TeachRock, the Rock and Roll Forever Foundation's national initiative to bring music curriculum into middle and high schools across the country. The dates - which mark the first-ever rock tour specifically geared to address this crucial societal need - begin April 29 at New Brunswick, NJ's historic State Theatre and then continues through all of May, breaking for Stevie's induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame on May 6, alongside Meryl Streep, Debbie Harry, The Four Seasons, among others.
