National Dance Institute has announced its highly anticipated 2024 Event of the Year, “Earth's Song,” taking place from June 15th to June 18th at NYU Skirball.

Elio Villafranca & The Jass Syncopators will take the stage at Aaron Davis Hall on Friday, April 26, for a magical musical journey “Crossroads from Cuba to New York.”

The hypnotic fusion of American jazz and Arabic tarab music arrives in Harlem as the Tarek Yamani Trio presents “Jazz Conceptions in Classical Arabic” on Friday, November 16, at Aaron Davis Hall. Premiering two new works on an ensemble of nine, the season will honor the centennial celebration of the great Leonard Bernstein with a new work to a chilling score along side Arvo Pärt's Stabat Mater, inspired by a 13th-century hymn about the crucifixion of Christ. The company will also resurrect a work from their inaugural 2013 season.

NEW YORK (February 28, 2018)—City College Center for the Arts (CCCA) invites families and readers of all ages to visit Aaron Davis Hall for a book party celebrating the launch of author and illustrator Nina Crews' new book Seeing into Tomorrow: Haiku by Richard Wright on Saturday, March 24 at 2 p.m. The free afternoon celebration will include a book reading by Nina Crews, storytelling, dance classes, refreshments and more fun activities for all ages. Copies of Seeing into Tomorrow: Haiku by Richard Wright (Millbrook Press/Lerner Publishing Group, 2018) will also be available for purchase.
