The NY Post has reported on the latest development of a new modern musical re-telling of the classic fairytale, Cinderella, by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The Hobby Center Foundation will present the Texas premiere of the North American tour of the hit musical comedy Spamilton: An American Parody at the Hobby Center's Zilkha Hall, from May 28 to June 9. Tickets are on sale now.

Nowadays it's quite common for a show to have '& Friends' in it's title. I don't know if Broadway Producer and entertainer Jamie deRoy invented the concept, but over the last 30 years she sure has perfected the inclusion of having her uber talented friends perform in Jamie deRoy & friends variety shows.
