Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony will perform in Orange County this March. Nathalie Stutzmann, the Music Director of ASO, will conduct ASO in their Orange County debut. Esa-Pekka Salonen, the Music Director of SFS, will lead SFS in an all-Sibelius program. Both concerts are sponsored by the Donna L. Kendall Classical Series.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra has announced that Anna Handler has been appointed as assistant conductor for a two-year term commencing in September 2024. BSO Music Director Andris Nelsons appointed Handler to the position, where she will join Samy Rachid, appointed in 2023, as one of the BSO's two assistant conductors.
