Rigano Brothers Return To Don't Tell Mama For The 6th Annual Ides Of March Extravaganza

The Brothers Rigano are returning to Don't Tell Mama on March 15 to celebrate the 2062nd anniversary of the assassination of Julius Caesar with their 6th Annual Ides of March Extravaganza. On March 15th at 7pm, musical theatre and cabaret composers David Rigano and Paul Rigano will be joined by a host of singers to present material from their upcoming musicals and reflect on the rise--and occasional fall--of wayward leaders.

The songwriting team of brothers David Rigano and Paul Rigano have announced the cast for their upcoming Rigano Songbook 6th Annual Ides of March Extravaganza coming up on March 15 at 7pm at Don't Tell Mama. Returning to the Extravaganza will be Ian Brodsky (Begin Again with Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley, In Love with the Arrow Collar Man), Alexandra deSuze (New York City Center Encores! A Night of Broadway Stars), ESJAE (Hair European Tour, Committed Broadway Workshop), Josey Miller (Game On at Pittsburgh CLO, Oklahoma! at Black Hills Playhouse), and Amanda Nicholas (Wild Women of Planet Wongo, Bayside the Musical) who will be joined by new #FriendsOfRiganoSongbook Allison Frasca (Wicked Frozen Off-Broadway, creator/star of All Star: the Best Broadway Musical) and Randa Meierhenry (Great American Melodrama, Great Plains Theatre, Round Barn Theatre).

This immersive sci-fi musical comedy spoofs madcap 60s B movies while placing the audience into the middle of the experience. "Wild Women of Planet Wongo" was written by Ben Budick, Steve Mackes and Dave Ogrin and is directed by David Rigano. "Wild Women of Planet Wongo" (Wongo) invades Chicago starting June 8 at the Chopin Theater, 1543 W. Division, following a long-term successful New York run. This immersive sci-fi musical comedy spoofs madcap 60s B movies while placing the audience into the middle of the experience. "Wild Women of Planet Wongo" was written by Ben Budick, Steve Mackes and Dave Ogrin and is directed by David Rigano. The first block of tickets are on sale on April 20 for shows June 8 through July 14. Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. The show is recommended for those over 16-years-old except for Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. which is strictly 21-years-old and over.
