Theatre in the Park (TIP) comes INDOOR to present its premiere production of the deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, “Little Shop Of Horrors” opening Friday, Oct. 6 in the Black Box Theatre at the Johnson County Arts and Heritage Center. Tony winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, Once on This Island, Ragtime), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

Four classic tales of misadventure are combined in Foolish Tales for Foolish Times to take the audience on a journey of venerable folk wisdom, in a celebration of our shared humanity. Using yesterday's solutions to solve today's problems, letting a small mistake become an insurmountable mess, just not thinking things through - these tales have it all! This show is guaranteed to please the young and young-at-heart alike.
