Last night, Wednesday 23 March, saw the opening night of the much-anticipated production of Duncan Macmillan's intoxicating new play, PEOPLE, PLACES & THINGS, at the Wyndham's Theatre. Menier Chocolate Factory to Premiere New David Baddiel Play MY FAMILY: NOT THE SITCOM

Following a critically acclaimed run of FAME: Not The Musical in 2014, the Menier Chocolate Factory today announces the world premiere of David Baddiel's new show My Family: Not The Sitcom. The production opens on 17 May, with previews from 10 May, and runs until 25 June, following Funny Girl which completes its run at the Menier Chocolate Factory on 5 March and the UK premiere of Florian Zeller's The Truth from 10 March to 7 May.
2015-16 Perfect Pitch Award for Musical Theatre Writing Winners Announced

Perfect Pitch and Theatre Royal Stratford East are delighted to announce the winners of the 2015/16 Perfect Pitch Award for Musical Theatre Writing. Daniel York and Craig Adams won the £12,000 prize for their piece 'Sinking Water' and the opportunity to collaborate on a new musical in a ceremony held today at St James's Theatre. The winners are now tasked with writing a full draft of a new show in a 12-month period towards a professional staged reading and/or production supported and mentored throughout by Perfect Pitch and Theatre Royal Stratford East.

Richard Bean's new play Great Britain opened in the West End on September 26,following a sell-out run at the National Theatre. With a cast led by Lucy Punch andRobert Glenister, Nicholas Hytner's production now continues at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in a strictly limited season to 10 January 2015. Designs are by Tim Hatley, with video design by 59 Productions, lighting by Neil Austin, music by Grant Olding and sound by Paul Arditti.
