Last night (Thursday 28 November 2019), the Royal Shakespeare Company celebrated the opening night of the new musical, The Boy in the Dress, based on the novel by David Walliams, adapted by Mark Ravenhill, with music and lyrics by Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers and directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran.

Paines Plough have today announced casting for the transfer of Sam Steiner's YOU STUPID DARKNESS! to Southwark Playhouse, a co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth. An urgent play about the struggle for optimism and community amid the chaos of a collapsing world, the production is directed by former Paines Plough co-Artistic Director James Grieve and the cast includes: Andrew Finnigan; Jenni Maitland; Lydia Larson; Andy Rush. The show opened at Theatre Royal Plymouth earlier this year and will run at Southwark Playhouse from 16 January - 22 February with a Press Night on Monday 20 January.
Ovation Acquires Additional Seasons of TRAVEL MAN and MIDSOMER MURDERS

Ovation, America's only arts network, has acquired the non-exclusive U.S. broadcast rights for select seasons in a multi-title deal with all3media international. The deal is for seasons 7 and 8 of Travel Man (8 x '30, 1 x 60' Christmas special), seasons 7 to 11 of Midsomer Murders (38 x 120'), and two seasons of Gordon's Great Escape (7x60'). The announcement was made today by Scott Woodward, EVP Programming and Production, Ovation.
