Musical Theatre West will welcome a familiar face to take on the iconic role of King George for the final weekend of Spamilton: An American Parody.

TheatreC & Rhyme Combinator announced today the complete cast for CO-FOUNDERS, a new hip hop musical about the two most unlikely partners in Silicon Valley, that will have a one-night-only concert on Saturday, April 9th at 7:00pm at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street).

Musical Theatre West has announced the Long Beach premiere of Spamilton: An American Parody written and created by Gerard Alessandrini (Forbidden Broadway), directed and choreographed by Gerry McIntyre, with music direction by Wilkie Ferguson III.

Josh Gad tweeted this morning that 'You Are the Music,' a song that appeared on the animated musical comedy series, Central Park, is one of his personal favorite parts of working on the show. 'Central Park,' the critically acclaimed, hit animated musical comedy series, returned with eight all-new episodes on Friday, March 4 on Apple TV+.

The Hamilton trio will reunite to open the ceremony, which is set to air on TNT and TBS. The SAG Awards have previously featured openers for the top of the telecast rather than hosts. Eugene and David Levy opened the 2020 broadcast.

The Gotham Film & Media Institute (The Gotham)  announced the winners of the 31st Annual Gotham Awards at a ceremony held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on November 29.

In a recent interview on CNBC, Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda revealed that the film capture of the Broadway production amplified the demand for ticket sales to the show on Broadway.  The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 26th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Thirteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.
