The critically-acclaimed Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour returns for another stop at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, back by popular demand on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 8 p.m. In a recording career that spans nearly three decades, Dave Koz has received 9 Grammy nominations and has logged 11 No. 1 albums on Billboard's Current Contemporary Jazz Album chart. The 2019 tour, now in its 22nd year, features South African guitarist/singer Jonathan Butler, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester, known for such mega-hits as a?oeMidnight Bluea?? and a?oeDon't Cry Out Loud,a?? SiriusXM to Launch Holiday Music Channels

SiriusXM announced today its extensive holiday music lineup featuring 15 commercial free channels including the much anticipated Holly and Holiday Traditions channels. Hallmark Channel Radio will kick off the holiday season Friday, October 25, and 12 more music channels will start broadcasting on Friday, November 1.

The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced The Music of Brian Gallagher, an evening featuring Broadway stars singing Gallagher's songs, on Saturday, October 19, at 8pm. Set to appear are Megan Hilty, Carly Hughes, Matt Cusson, and Carrie Manolakos, with more to be announced. At this event, music from Gallagher's concept album Brownstone will be heard live on the West Coast for the first time.

National and international recording artists abound this month at Blue Note Hawaii, bringing some of entertainment's most recognizable names to Hawaii's premier live music venue. The month kicks off with an exclusive pairing of two of the most innovative artists in the local music scene, Taimane and Tavana, in a Lei Day celebration, that is not to be missed. The incomparable Dionne Warwick is back by popular demand sharing hit after hit from her legendary career. Vocalist Ginai returns to Blue Note Hawaii presenting a showcase of young local talent, Erisan Awaya and Rachel Javier, in a tribute to Whitney Houston. Henry Kapono shares the next installment of his Artist 2 Artist Series with The Songs of C&K, featuring Kalani Pe'a, Josh Tatofi, Alx Kawakami, Blayne Asing, Paula Fuga, Starr Kalahiki, Tavana, Mike Love and Kimié Miner. Jazz saxophonist Dave Koz returns alongside guitarist Adam Hawley and bassist Chris Walker. Bringing everything that New Orleans and Louisiana music stands for, Davell Crawford and Charmaine Neville of the iconic Neville family grace the stage for one night only. A Bowie Celebration features alumni band members Mike Garson, Gerry Leonard, Mark Plati and Carmine Rojas along with vocalist Corey Glover and drummer Lee John, performing a mix of Bowie's hits and deep-cuts. Jazz fusion icons Spyro Gyra are back and local power couple Imua and Tiffa Garza share their unique blend of island music. J-Pop superstar turned jazz pianist Senri Oe performs with his trio featuring Henry Cole and Matt Clohesy live for one night only. Next up is 2018 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award nominees for Most Promising Artists Beat-Lele, followed by Canadian singer-songwriter Gino Vannelli. Hawaiian Music 105 KINE presents Willie K and crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop, Pink Martini triumphantly returns to the Blue Note stage. April is filled with huge names at Blue Note Hawaii, bringing some of entertainment's most recognizable artists to Hawaii's premier live music venue. The month kicks off with the best and brightest of the local music scene, including Henry Kapono's Artist 2 Artist Series featuring Amy Hānaiali'i, singer-songwriter Kimié Miner and Ginai performing the music of Anita Baker, Toni Braxton and Roberta Flack. Music legend George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic performs for the first and last time in Hawaii in four shows only, followed by Doolin Rakes who share their own brand of lively Irish and Celtic tunes. Andy Bumatai's Comic to Comic Series continues with rising local comedian Tumua Tuinei. Eighties and nineties pop superstar Taylor Dayne will have you dancing, as will Hawaiian Swing Big Band Kahulanui. Next up, singer--songwriter and multi-talented instrumentalist Elijah Sky brings his reggae style to the stage and Hawaii's own Gypsy 808 plays sets inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt and the Quintette du Hot Club de France. Local favorite Kristian Lei performs the best of Broadway for one night only and the incomparable Jake Shimabukuro returns from his world tour to celebrate with us. The month also highlights four shows by movie star Jeff Goldblum & The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, where he will take your questions, ask you trivia questions and play classic jazz with his band. Gypsy jazz continues with the Hotclub of Hulafrisco, featuring Hawaii favorites Sonny Silva and Duane Padilla alongside some of the world's most respected players in the genre – Paul Mehling, Isabelle Fontaine and special guest Simon Planting. Where The Sunshine Is Expensive, a love letter to her adopted hometown of Los Angeles, drops March 22 on Resonance Records. Set to release on March 22nd on Resonance Records, Where The Sunshine Is Expensive is essentially a love letter to her adopted hometown of Los Angeles. Logan unveiled the first taste of the upcoming album with the lead single 'Understand,' Logan's tongue in cheek take on honesty in the city of sunshine.

In 1938, at the age of 33, Austrian composer Eric Zeisl and his wife fled the Nazi invasion of his home in Vienna for a new life in the United States. When he arrived in Los Angeles, Zeisl committed himself to applying his mastery of classical compositional technique to commemorating the destroyed Jewish European heritage. Now, in celebration of the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony's 25th Anniversary, Albany Records has just released The Music of Eric Zeisl with the LAJS, conducted by Dr. Noreen Green.
