What better way to celebrate the bard's birthday than with a marathon? While the doors of Irondale Ensemble Project remain closed amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, the company launched a 8 hour Shakespeare sonnet marathon in honor of Shakespeare's birthday, performing for over nearly 2,000 people throughout the day. Over 110 participants, spanning from age 9-90 joined the company to read and contribute.

The only thing I never expected or dreamt of was getting such a wonderful cast as this. Everybody we ever dreamt of wanted to be in it. Today we rewind to 2007, when Lea Salonga joined the company of the first revival of Les Miserables. Salonga, who famously portrayed Eponine in the original production, took on Fantine- previously played by Daphne Rubin-Vega. She would go on to play the role in the 2010 in the 25th Anniversary Concert of the show.
