Theatre By The Sea will open its 2024 Summer Season with the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical A Chorus Line, which will be presented from May 29 - June 22, 2024.

This June, The Sarasota Ballet will perform in the Linbury Theatre at the Royal Opera House for a limited run of performances as part of Ashton Celebrated.

From May 30 to June 16, Theater for the New City (TNC) will present 'Party Clown of the Rich & Famous and The Hungry Mind Buffet,' a two-part evening of short plays.

According to reports, the previously announced pop musical Verona's Romeo & Juliet will be distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment on Valentine's Day 2025. The new movie musical will be the first in a trilogy of pop musical movies that tell the real 1301 story that inspired William Shakespeare's classic play. The film is led by Clara Rugaard and Jamie Ward as Juliet and Romeo, respectively.

Old Crow Medicine Show has announced the return of founding member Christopher “Critter” Fuqua to the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning band. Following a four-year hiatus, Fuqua will be re-joining the group on their current Jubilee Tour in support of their GRAMMY-nominated album and 25th anniversary, with new dates just announced, including two performances at the Grand Ole Opry on May 17 and 18.

On April 23rd 2024, Yayasan Kanker Indonesia (Indonesian Cancer Foundation) produced the original musical Musikal Masih Ada (Still Remains the Musical), in collaboration with Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakpro, and new performing arts company Adpro. The musical ran for two shows at Graha Bhakti Budaya, Jakarta.
