Leapin' Lizards!  Broadway in Jackson has announced that an all-new tour of the iconic Tony Award-winning musical ANNIE will play at Thalia Mara Hall on May 3rd, 2023. Tickets for the Jackson engagement go on sale Friday, December 2nd, 2023.

Leapin' Lizards!  Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, announced today that the all-new tour of the iconic Tony Award-winning musical ANNIE will play San Jose's Center for the Performing Arts (255 S. Almaden Blvd.) from January 10–15, 2023.

Leapin' Lizards! The national tour of ANNIE, produced by Troika Entertainment, LLC, launches tonight at The Landmark Theatre in Syracuse, NY for six performances only, October 4-8, 2022, followed by a multi-season tour that will visit more than 50 cities in the 2022-2023 season.

Leapin’ Lizards! The full cast and creative team has been announced for the all-new tour of the iconic Tony Award®-winning musical ANNIE. In the title role of Annie is Ellie Pulsifer, a 12-year-old actress from South Florida, making her tour debut. 

Due to multiple positive COVID-19 cases in the company and staff, New 42 announced that all remaining performances of Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas have been canceled. Performances were scheduled to play through January 2, 2022.

Today, Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas announced their full cast and creative team. The cast will include Colin Trudell as Emmet Otter, Jordan Brownlee (Puppeteer) as Tiny Squirrel/Doc Bullfrog, Kevin Covert as Mayor Fox, LaVon Fisher-Wilson as Mrs. Mink/Hetty Muskrat, and more.

Broadway's Erin Mackey will lead Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific at Goodspeed Musicals'. The production begins April 17 will run through June 28 at The Goodspeed.

Goodspeed Musicals has announced this year's cast of A Connecticut Christmas Carol - the musical treat infused with Connecticut flavor by LJ Fecho and Michael O'Flaherty. There are some musicals that simply epitomize the genre. You know the ones - the shows where you have lost count how many times you have seen them, either on Broadway, on tour, or at your local theatre. They are like a part of the family - the favorite uncle or aunt that you are happy to see whenever you are together. One of these shows for me is Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN, the classic that serves as a near-perfect representation of American Musical Theatre. So, it is with excitement, and a bit of trepidation (how will this production fare with all the others in my memory?) that I went to see Goodspeed Musicals latest production. I am thrilled to say that the play feels as fresh as the day it premiered, is as lovely as the "bells on the hill" that feature in one of its most iconic songs, and serves as a brilliant opening to the new season at the Goodspeed Opera House.
