SLANTED FLOORS, the site-specific play starring Kyle Beltran and Adam Chanler-Berat, returns to its original Greenpoint apartment for a strictly limited 150-seat engagement, directed by Ryan Dobrin.

James Caan, Michael Rispoli, Raul Segarra, and Sarah Shapiro will star in the daylong theater reading festival TWELVE HOURS WITH TRACY LETTS, showcasing continuous performances.

Playwright Brie Leftwich’s Gray Mud will premiere at Theater for the New City from November 7–23, directed by Damayanti Wallace. The play explores adolescence, friendship, and identity at a summer camp in the New Jersey Pine Barrens.

THE 24 HOUR PLAYS has announced this year's cohort for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, which will return this summer for their 13th year. A weeklong professional development initiative for early-career theater artists, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2024 will take place July 15-22, 2024 at the Pace University Lower Manhattan campus. 

TOURIST TRAP, written by Elijah Guo and directed by Dylin Taylor, premieres at the Chain Theatre One-Act Festival on Feb. 10 at 8:00pm, Feb. 18 at 5:00pm, and Feb. 22 at 8:30pm.

Twenty-one Chicago high school students will once again compete in the finals of the August Wilson Monologue Competition for a chance to represent Chicago in the National Competition at the August Wilson Theatre in New York City. Hundreds of students competed across the city in preliminary rounds. The finals will be held at the Broadway Playhouse, 175 E Chestnut on February 26, 2018 at 6:00pm. The August Wilson Monologue Competition is free and open to the public. The top two winners of the Chicago finals will compete in the National Finals at Broadway's August Wilson Theatre in New York on May 7, 2018.
