Food Network Announces Holiday Season Programming

Food Network and Cooking Channel deck the halls for the holidays with 70% more hours of premiere holiday programming than last year including two new series, eight specials, several returning fan-favorites and seasonal stunts, as well as recipe inspiration on the new Food Network Kitchen app. The seasonal lineup kicks off with the return of Holiday Baking Championship with host Jesse Palmer and tough love judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman, and Lorraine Pascale premiering on Monday, November 4th at 9pm ET/PT, followed by a special episode of Holiday Baking Championship: Sweet Revenge at 10pm ET/PT where runners up from past seasons get a second chance to prove their holiday baking abilities. Then, at 11pm ET/PT it's the icing on top, with a new season of Christmas Cookie Challenge with host Eddie Jackson and lead judge Ree Drummond. The holiday action continues on Wednesday, November 27th at 10pm ET/PT as Tyler Florence hosts The Great Food Truck Race: Holiday Hustle as food trucks hit the snowy roads of New England in the series' first-ever holiday-themed season. Next, Casey Webb heads to the North Pole on the new series Santa's Baking Blizzard, where ice sculptors and cake masters are challenged to defy the laws of ice and cake and bring the holidays alive, premiering on Thursday, November 28th at 9pm ET/PT. When the weather outside is frightful, the competition heats up on the return of Holiday Wars with host Jonathan Bennett on Sunday, December 1st at 9pm ET/PT as cake masters and sugar artists face-off to create mind-blowing holiday displays, followed by a new season of Holiday Gingerbread Showdown with host Paige Davis at 10pm ET/PT as gingerbread artists create edible gingerbread masterpieces. Kids Baking Championship: North Pole Edition premieres on Sunday, December 8th at 8pm ET/PT as Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli challenge four beloved kid bakers from previous seasons to create the most spectacular treats for Santa. Alton Brown is having a 'latke' fun on Good Eats with back-to-back episodes exploring latkes and libations on Sunday, December 15th at 8pm and 8:30pm ET/PT. Molly Yeh continues the Hanukkah celebration on Ultimate Hanukkah Challenge as four chefs are tested to put their creative spin on some of the holiday's classic dishes premiering Saturday, December 21st at 9pm ET/PT.Then, Duff Goldman rings in the New Year with the most spectacular cakes that transform from one decade to another new special Cake-Off: New Year's Eve, premiering Sunday, December 29th at 9pm.

Food Network and Cooking Channel are preparing for food's biggest holiday with a full slate of Thanksgiving-themed programming, including a live on-air event and first-ever, interactive Thanksgiving streaming event on the NEW Food Network Kitchen app, marking a 40% increase in Thanksgiving content compared to 2018. The November primetime lineup on Food Network includes: Ultimate Thanksgiving Challenge, a four-episode competition hosted by Giada De Laurentiis premiering Sunday, November 3rd at 9pm ET/PT; Worst Cooks in America: Thanksgiving Redemption with Anne Burrell and Scott Conant on Sunday, November 10th at 10pm ET/PT; brand-new special Thanksgiving Pie Fight hosted by Sunny Anderson on Thursday, November 14th at 9pm ET/PT; a turkey-focused Good Eats one-hour special with Alton Brown on Sunday, November 17th at 8pm ET/PT and Macy's Thanksgiving Cake Spectacular with Maureen McCormick on Sunday, November 17th at 10pm ET/PT. On Friday, November 22nd at 9pm ET/6pm PT, Guy Fieri will host the first-ever, fully interactive LIVE Thanksgiving streaming event, Guy's Thanksgiving Hotline, on the Food Network Kitchen app, sharing recipes, tips and guidance for the biggest holiday of the year, and giving fans the chance to have their questions answered in real-time. Rachael Ray's 30 MINUTE MEALS Returns with New Episodes This Fall on Food Network

Food Network star, Emmy(R)-winning talk show host, and best-selling cookbook author, Rachael Ray, returns with new episodes of 30 Minute Meals on Saturday, November 9th at 9:30am ET/PT on Food Network. During each episode Rachael gives viewers real-time, step-by-step cooking instructions, from ingredient prep to getting a meal on the table, with time-saving tips that make the aspirational achievable. Ahead of the linear premiere, starting at midnight on November 9th viewers will be able to access exclusive 30 Minute Meals digital content on the Food Network Kitchen app, including binge watching all ten episodes of the new season, recipes from each episode, and additional short-form content with Rachael throughout the season.

Food Network Announces New Show CHOPPED: SWEETS SHOWDOWN

Ted Allen hosts this new high-stakes dessert tournament for the ages in the five-episode stunt, Chopped: Sweets Showdown, premiering Tuesday, October 1st at 9pm ET/PT on Food Network. In each episode four chefs have a sweet-themed ingredient in their mystery baskets that they must use through three rounds to create different dessert iterations with a limited amount of time. GOOD EATS Joins Food Network Primetime Lineup

Alton Brown is bringing back the groundbreaking series that inspired a generation of food fans with culinary science, history, comedy, puppets, cameras inside appliances and great recipes with Good Eats: The Return, premiering on Sunday, August 25th with double episodes at 10pm and 10:30pm (all times ET/PT) on Food Network. Food Network to Air New Series SUPERMARKET STAKEOUT

New Food Network series Supermarket Stakeout, premiering Tuesday, August 13th at 10pm ETPT, is a competition where blind luck, negotiation and cooking skills are the key ingredients to success. Hosted by Iron Chef and Chopped judge Alex Guarnaschelli, each episode kicks off with a culinary ambush outside a local supermarket, where four competing chefs approach unsuspecting shoppers leaving the store to negotiate the bags right out of their hands - without knowing what's inside. Over three rounds of themed culinary challenges and with a budget of only $500, the chefs are limited to using the items they can wrangle out of the customer's carts using their charm, persuasiveness and a little cash. A rotating panel of judges determines which challengers had the most successful dishes using the acquired ingredients, with the last chef standing in each episode walking away with enough cash for a year's worth of groceries.

KIDS BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP to Return This August on Food Network

Summer fun is on the rise as Kids Baking Championship returns with back-to-back new episodes on Monday, August 12th at 8pm and 9pm ETPT, with weekly new episodes airing on Mondays at 9pm ETPT.
