Updates Announced for DCPA Cabaret Summer Lineup At The Garner Galleria Theatre

Denver Center for the Performing Arts Cabaret announces two shows for the summer lineup at The Garner Galleria Theatre; Rockin' and Rollin' with Miss Rhythm: The Story of R&B Legend Ruth Brown plays two weekends only June 3&4 and June 10&11, and Dixie is back where it all started with Dixie's Never Wear a Tube Top While Riding a Mechanical Bull (and 16 Other Things I learned while I Was Drinking Last Thursday) June 22 through July 17. Agatha Christie’s murder mystery novel, And Then There Were None, published in 1939 and adapted for the stage by Ms. Christie in 1943 is being staged at the Players Theatre in The West Village. The production is part of Be Bold! Productions’ Murder on MacDougal series which produced Murder on the Links in 2021 and Murder on the Nile in 2019.

THE CHI to Return to Showtime This Summer

Season five cast includes Jacob Latimore (Like a Boss), Alex Hibbert (Moonlight), Yolonda Ross (Treme), Shamon Brown Jr., Michael V. Epps, Birgundi Baker, Luke James and Curtiss Cook (West Side Story). Kandi Burruss, La La Anthony, Jason Weaver and Iman Shumpert are set to return as guest stars.

Although it is important to have physical copies of scripts and scores, I personally prefer to have them on a tablet because it is cleaner. I normally only need them before rehearsals to work out my actions, lines, and character work but the moment I get into the rehearsal, I no longer need them, therefore a soft copy would suffice.
