Charlotte Bronte's book, 'Jane Eyre,' is a gothic melodrama which centers on strong-minded Jane's cruel treatment by her sadistic cousin and aunt, being shipped off to jail-like boarding school, departing to become a nanny for the ward of the wealthy but psychologically tortured Edward Fairfax with whom she falls in love, and the resulting angst of secrets revealed.

Cleveland Musical Theatre (CMT) announced today its full cast & creative team for the theatre's revised world premiere of Jane Eyre, August 31 - September 9.

Passions run high on the mighty Mississippi as the paddle-steamer Cotton Blossom sets sail. With its powerful story of love, loyalty, and freedom, Show Boat is a thrilling musical spectacle that features some of the most memorable songs of the era, like Ol' Man River and Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man (of Mine). Its message of acceptance and inclusion resonates vibrantly even today.

In present-day North Florida, in a town called Starke, in a trailer park called 'Armadillo Acres' (though there are few armadillos and even fewer acres), there's a new tenant - and she's wreaking havoc all over Florida's most exclusive trailer park. New resident, Pippi, the stripper, is on the run, in her five-inch heels no less! Her arrival shakes up the otherwise hum-drum, daily existence of the trailer park residents. When Pippi comes between the Dr. Phil-loving agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth-collector husband Norbert - Conflict shakes the dysfunctional bliss of the trailer park!
