While Hood has helped pen songs for superstars like Miranda Lambert, The Oak Ridge Boys and Cody Jinks, who have all graced the Opry stage, this will be Adam's first time in the Opry circle. Grammy-winning Country superstar Clint Black and his wife Lisa Hartman Black are hitting the road again for year two of the Mostly Hits & the Mrs. Tour with special guest Lily Pearl Black. They will be making a stop at Alberta Bair Theater on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Beginning in Fall 2022, students at all four public high schools will benefit from a new partnership. For the first time in recent history, the School District is offering a guitar class as part of its Fine Arts program.

The Mount Vernon Arts Consortium welcomed Amy Grant on April 7th, 2022 to the Knox Memorial Theater in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Amy has sold more than 30 million albums world-wide, including three multi-platinum, six platinum and four gold. Grant has received 6 Grammy Awards and 26 Dove Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a star on the Music City Walk of Fame. Most recently, she was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
