VIOLET to Open at Live Arts Theater in November

Live Arts Theater's 2022/23 Transformations Season journeys forward with the award-winning musical VIOLET. This soaring musical pilgrimage features music by Jeanine Tesori and lyrics and book by Brian Crawley. VIOLET will have 12 performances in the Gibson Theater, November 18 through December 10, 2022.

In this offbeat hit musical, narrated through doo-wop ditties by a trio of neighborhood girls, meek florist Seymour finds himself catapulted into instant celebrity when he cultivates an otherworldly showstopper, a highly unusual plant.

COST OF LIVING Plays Final Broadway Performance

Broadway says goodbye to The Cost of Living on November 6. Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play, written by Martyna Majok and directed by Obie Award winner Jo Bonney, plays its final performance at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

MTC's COST OF LIVING Announces One Week Extension

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced an extension of one additional week of performances for the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Cost of Living, written by Martyna Majok (Sanctuary City, Ironbound) and directed by Obie Award winner Jo Bonney, at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).
