Masterworks Broadway and Broadway Records have announced the release of Groundhog Day The Musical - Original Broadway Cast Recording. Produced by Chris Nightingale, Tim Minchin, and Michael Croiter, the album is available digitally beginning today, April 21, and on CD May 12.

Groundhog Day, the Olivier Award-winning new musical featuring music and lyrics by Tim Minchinand a book by Danny Rubin, and directed by Matthew Warchus, opens tonight, Monday April 17, on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). Performances began on March 16.

This weekend, the Royal Shakespeare Company's Australian production of Matilda The Musical will mark a significant milestone, with the millionth patron in attendance at the Crown Theatre, Perth, where the critically-acclaimed musical is currently playing.

The Groundhog Day cast was in the recording studio this weekend finishing up work on the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording. Pre-sales for the album, soon to be available on Masterworks Broadway/Broadway Records, are now available on iTunes and Amazon. The album will released digitally on April 14 and in stores on May 5. It is produced by Chris Nightingale, Michael Croiter, and Tim Minchin.

Following the sold-out success of the previous relaxed performances of Matilda The Musical, the Royal Shakespeare Company will present its fourth at the Cambridge Theatre on Sunday 11 June 2017.

Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, the first national tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be coming to The Center for the Performing Arts (255 S. In 3 weeks, TIME Magazine's #1 Show of 2013, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, is coming to Sioux Falls, SD.  Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be coming to the Washington Pavilion Mary W. Sommervold Hall for six performances on March 22-26, 2017.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's multi award-winning production of Matilda The Musical has announced that Lilian Hardy, Emma Moore and Eva-Marie Saffrey will join Abbie Vena the title role of Matilda from 14 March. Performances at the Cambridge Theatre are currently on sale until 17 December 2017.
