The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra announce that The New York Tenors will perform on March 14, 2020, replacing the previously announced Irish Tenors. The Irish Tenors have put their spring tour on hold after the recent retirement of Finbar Wright.

The New York Tenors celebrated the holiday season last night at Carnegie Hall in an evening of Christmas spirit. All of the proceeds from this performance will go to Fr. Francis Pizzarelli and Hope House Ministries to support their efforts to help the lives of broken young people. Since the inception of The Three Tenors on July 7, 1990 in Rome at the Baths of Caracalla on the eve of the FIFA World Cup Final, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and the one and only Luciano Pavarotti; have opened the doors for other great voices, such as the Irish Tenors, The Canadian Tenors and many other talented and renowned performers. Now three of New York's premier voices, Andy Cooney, Daniel Rodriguez and Christopher Macchio have joined together as The New Yorkers to honor the city of New York and our great nation. On Friday July 25, 2014 they brought their debut show to E.W. Allen Park in Farmingdale for The Town Of Oyster Bay's 2014 Music Under The Stars series joined by special guests Comedian Jim Labriola, Soprano Marla Kavanaugh and Ryan Cooney and Shannon Cooney, and BroadwayWorld was on hand from soundcheck to show and brings you the photo coverage below!

Garibaldi Meucci's Annual Luncheon Celebrates Staten Island Hurricane Recovery

Those attending the annual brunch for the Garibaldi Meucci Museum (GMM) were treated to a day of wonder, they were able to see the sites of Staten Island with its recovery efforts following hurricane Sandy. But most of all, it was an opportunity to be able to participate in an annual effort to help maintain, and preserve the famed Garibaldi Meucci Museum, now a landmark on Staten Island and in the City of New York. The home in which the Hero of Two Worlds, Giuseppe Garibaldi, lived with Inventor Antonio Meucci, was built sometime about 1843 and moved to its present site from across the street from its current property. The house has withstood, happily, even the many hurricanes, storms and weather conditions since that time.
