Nashville Opera opens its staging of Marc Blitzstein's The Cradle Will Rock at Noah Liff Opera Center, Way Off Broadway Productions unveils its version of Les Liaisons Dangereuses at Music Valley Event Center, Street Theatre Company invites you to the see their staging of Lynn Nottage's Sweat at their new venue on Elm Hill Pike and Nashville Rep continues its celebration of 10 years of The Ingram New Works Festival at Nashville Children's Theatre.

Book Tickets Now For THE SON in the West End

Following a critically acclaimed sell out run at Kiln Theatre, Michael Longhurst's production of Florian Zeller's The Son, in a translation by Christopher Hampton, transfers to the West End. The production opens at the Duke of York's Theatre on 2 September, with previews from 24 August, and runs until 2 November. Amanda Abbington, Laurie Kynaston, John Light and Amaka Okafor reprise their lauded performances for the strictly limited 10 week run. The Son marks the first West End transfer for the Kiln Theatre since it reopened last September, and is presented in the West End by Fiery Angel and Gavin Kalin Productions.

Climate Change Play CONTINUITY Begins Performances At Manhattan Theatre Club On May 8

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of Continuity, the new play by Lortel and Drama Desk Award nominee Bess Wohl (Small Mouth Sounds, American Hero) and directed by Tony Award nominee Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), begins performances tomorrow at The Studio at Stage II - Harold and Mimi Steinberg New Play Series at New York City Center (131 W. 55th Street). Opening night is set for Tuesday, May 21.

The Coronet Theatre Announces A New Season And A New Name

Artistic Director Anda Winters is delighted to announce a new season of UK and International performance and visual art, which includes 5 UK and world premieres, with work by Christopher Hampton, Thomas Lebrun, Bruce McLean, Simon Armitage, Bongsu Park, Alix Sobler and Caroline Wright and a new name The Coronet Theatre.

Manhattan Theatre Club, Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have just announced the American premiere of the London Theatre Company (Nicholas Hytner and Nick Starr) production of My Name is Lucy Barton starring Laura Linney (Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes, 'Ozark'), by Elizabeth Strout (Olive Kitteridge), adapted by Rona Munro (The James Trilogy), and directed by Richard Eyre (The Crucible, Notes on a Scandal) as part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2019-2020 season. The New York production will be produced in association with Penguin Random House Audio.

BWW Review: A GERMAN LIFE, Bridge Theatre

Having been away from the stage for 12 years, Maggie Smith has returned in exceptional style in Christopher Hampton's A German Life. It's an almost 2 hour monologue, in which Smith recounts a life story as if to a long-lost friend visiting for afternoon tea.

KING KONG Releases Tickets Through January 12

A new block of tickets has been released for Broadway's King Kong. Now on sale through January 12, 2020, King Kong is playing at the Broadway Theatre where it opened on Thursday, November 8 (previews began October 5, 2018).

This is 'Sunset Boulevard', a super production that premiered on March 22 at Teatro Santander, Sao Paulo, and marks the return to the stages of one of the most beloved Brazilian theater duo: Marisa Orth and Daniel Boaventura.
