Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced two special events for the 2022 summer season, an extension of Man of God due to popular demand, dates and programming for the Fridays@3 reading series, as well as creative teams and casting for Man of God, Most Happy in Concert, and we are continuous.
From New Line Cinema comes “Don’t Worry Darling,” directed by Olivia Wilde (“Booksmart”) and starring Florence Pugh (Oscar-nominated for “Little Women”), Harry Styles (“Dunkirk”), Wilde (upcoming “Babylon”), Gemma Chan (“Crazy Rich Asians”), KiKi Layne (“The Old Guard”) and Chris Pine (“All the Old Knives”).
Troian Bellisario (“Pretty Little Liars”) stars in this delightfully dry and witty comedy about a pregnant couple who reluctantly hires a male doula, from director Cheryl Nichols (“Cortez”). Rounding out the cast is Chris Pine, who stars as Deb’s doctor, with Amanda Walsh, Ally Maki, Elyse Levesque, Alex McKenna and Robert Baker.
Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced Mike Lew as the recipient of the 2022 L. Arnold Weissberger New Play Award for his play tiny father. Lew will receive the $10,000 award and the accompanying $10,000 Jay Harris Commission to write a new play.
