In an effort to raise awareness around mental health HBO is introducing It's OK, an initiative that aims to destigmatize mental illness and encourage conversation around mental health issues. HBO will highlight a diversity of characters seen throughout the networks' series whose stories can help to normalize the conversation. The network has created Mental Health Awareness Bumpers and short form content to run on HBO's platforms beginning today in conjunction with World Mental Health Day.

The four-day October event will feature stand-up, sketch, improv, and musical comedy from performers with credits from HBO, Comedy Central, Key & Peele, Comedy Bang Bang, others.

Gabe Gonzalez (Mic), Monique Moses (Broad City, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), and Becky Chicoine (O.S.F.U.G., UCB) will join Rachel Pegram (The Chris Gethard Show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, The Late Show) for a?oeTikTokTanka?? at Mark Vigeant's monthly comedy show, Internet Explorers: TikTok, at Caveat on October 17, 2019.

Toronto's only longform improv festival, Haroldfest, will celebrate their third anniversary with some of North America's top improvisers coming together in Toronto. In this original double feature presentation, two guys - Thomas Frances and Justin Linville - and two girls - Kelly Cooper and Caitlin Dullea - have written plays for their counterparts to perform. This upcoming two-night run at the BCC features two new plays, Ouroboros and The Bends -a play about social media mistakes and another about a troubling relationship with a landlord, respectively.
