Theater Resources Unlimited will return to live monthly panels and discussions simultaneously streamed for artists outside New York City. The first Live Town Hall of 2024 will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024 with networking at 6:30 pm and an open forum beginning at 7:00 pm ET.

Other than a handful of playwrights 30 and under, all the playwrights spoken to for this piece believe their sex has impacted their careers in the theater. Women feel that they have trouble getting in the room and being taken seriously once there. But there is something more, a sense that when things get really bad -- beyond mansplaining bad -- there aren't many people to turn to in the theater.

The staged reading of Greenwood by Coolidge Harris II, the inaugural presentation of the TRU Diversity/Amplifying BIPOC Voices program initiative, will be followed by a 'dollars and sense' talkback discussion about the development of this new work. The reading will take place on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 7pm ET at The Actors’ Temple.
