Flyaway Productions has announced the world premiere of IF I GIVE YOU MY SORROWS, an apparatus-based dance with an accompanying exhibition of visual art. Presented in partnership with Empowerment Avenue and the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD), Flyaway's newest project advances the company's multi-year exploration of the experiences of people impacted by incarceration.

Sewer Rat, the debut EP from rising artist Franklin Jonas, is out now on Pizzaslime Records / Mad Decent. Anna Tivel has announced Outsiders (Live in a Living Room), one year after the acclaimed album's original version. The 12-track set sees Tivel in a duo arrangement with friend Jon Neufeld, both on acoustic guitar, creating intimate renditions of all eleven songs from her most celebrated record yet, as well as B-side single 'American Novella.'

The New York-based artist The Bones of J.R. Jones announced Slow Lighting, his first full length album release in more than 5 years. The Bones of J.R. Jones has also announced a US and European tour, with an album release show in his home state of New York at Mercury Lounge on October 13.

Produced by Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Between You & Me), the new album features the most tightly honed songwriting of Bearings’ near-decade career, instantly nostalgic for sweaty summer festivals and finger-pointed singalongs while serving as a clear indication of where the pop-punk genre is headed.

While the band member recuperates the first leg of dates affected begin June 23 in Pelham, TN and run through July 6 in Chicago, IL. Additional dates in July are scheduled to go on as planned. Ticket holders for the affected shows should hang onto their tickets, rescheduled dates will be announced very soon.

Following their sold-out run of A Night of New Jewish Writing at the Kiln Theatre in 2022, Emanate Productions are back at the Soho Theatre this August with a brand-new triple bill of Jewish plays. The Arc: A Trilogy of New Jewish Plays is a world premiere of new short plays by three of the UK’s leading Jewish playwrights, exploring life’s great moments of birth, marriage, and death through a distinctly Jewish lens.
