Theatre Neuf is a nonprofit theatrical organization. It uses both professional and non-professional performers and musicians. Two of its members had the idea to produce a big musical with the aid of this organization, and they chose INTO THE WOODS, a musical regarded by many as one of the most complicated scores in the musical theatre canon.

Theater at Monmouth's 2018 Family Show is The True Story of Little Red a new adaptation of the Brothers Grimm classic fairy tale. The run starts on Saturday, June 30th, at 1:00 p.m. and continues throughout the season including matinee performances on both weekdays and weekends. This modern-day twist on a century's old classic, traditionally warning us not to trust strangers or to stay on the straight and narrow path, asks modern audiences to consider different points of view in an effort to avoid stereotypes and to better understand people different from ourselves.

With help from a grant graciously provided by The Robert and Dorothy Goldberg Foundation, Maine State Music Theatre will bring two shows ("Cinderella" and "I Love a Piano") to Fryeburg Academy. Both shows are scheduled to perform on Saturday, June 9 at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center.

'Glorious,' raved the New York Times when Joyce DiDonato sang the title role of Cendrillon at the Royal Opera in 2011. 'Her performance was thoroughly enchanting.' Now, for the first time ever, Massenet's sumptuous take on the Cinderella story comes to the Met, with DiDonato starring in the title role. She is paired with mezzo-soprano Alice Coote in the trouser role of Prince Charming, Kathleen Kim as the Fairy Godmother, and Stephanie Blythe as the imperious Madame de la Haltière. Bertrand de Billy conducts Laurent Pelly's imaginative storybook production.

TAFE's mission is to be theatre for everyone. Its CINDERELLA does that with stage magic, not a fairy godmother.

Typically, the immediate attraction between Cinderella and the handsome prince is presented as simply a matter of physical chemistry, but in Company XIV's newest variation of Charles Perrault's classic, the true bonding between the two occurs because they're both captivating aerialists.

The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) are pleased to announce programming for the third annual Tilt Kids Festival, featuring six premieres of whimsical, thoughtful, and rigorously made works for children across six venues throughout New York City, March 3-18. The Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF) are pleased to present Joel Pommerat's Little Red Riding Hood, a rare stateside performance of his most celebrated work, to open the third annual Tilt Kids Festival. Performances will take place at FIAF's Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street) on Saturday, March 3 at 12 & 7pm, and Sunday, March 4 at 12pm.There will also be a Festival opening brunch before the Saturday matinee from 11am-12pm.

The most anticipated premiere during this theatrical season is 'Shakespeare in Love' presented by Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre. Lee Hall's stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning film will take place on the main stage of Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre on May 11 and 12, 2018.

INTO THE WOODS may be one of the most popular musicals for those skilled in the art of presenting musical theater comedy. So much so that when Cupcake Studios held auditions for the 17 character roles in the show, over 1,000 people submitted online and in person to be in the show at the North Hollywood theater location. So it is no wonder each and every person in the show creates magic when they take the stage! Kudos to Michael Pettenato, the group's Artistic Director who directs and produces this musical extravaganza, for selecting the best of the best to bring such excellence in all aspects of the production.
