One of my biggest bugbears in theatre is a production that remains on stage well past its welcome. Overlong and flabby shows do neither the audience nor the show itself any favours. It is therefore a huge endorsement for me to state that a production of nearly three and a half hours really is worth every second of your time.

Full casting has been announced for the five-time Tony Award winning production of The Lehman Trilogy which returns to London's West End following highly acclaimed international performances. 

The National Theatre's critically acclaimed, five-time Tony Award® winning production of The Lehman Trilogy will return to London’s West End following highly acclaimed international performances. 

The National Theatre and Neal Street Productions bring THE LEHMAN TRILOGY to The Theatre Royal, following successful runs in London and New York. Written by Stefano Massini, adapted by Ben Power, and directed by multi-award-winning director Sam Mendes with five Tony Award wins, including Best Play, 2022.

Rehearsals for the critically acclaimed, five-time Tony Award® winning production of The Lehman Trilogy have started in London ahead of the production receiving its Australian premiere at the Theatre Royal Sydney from 21 February 2024.  See photos featuring the cast in rehearsals for this new production, produced by the National Theatre and Neal Street Productions’, in association with Trafalgar Entertainment.

The producers, the National Theatre and Neal Street Productions, in association with Trafalgar  Entertainment, announced today that Aaron Krohn, Howard W. Overshown and Adrian Schiller will play the Lehman brothers, and a cast of characters including their sons and grandsons, when the  critically acclaimed, five-time Tony Award winning production of The Lehman Trilogy premieres at the  Theatre Royal Sydney from 21 February 2024.  

The National Theatre has announced two new productions, Roald Dahl's The Witches, in a co-production with the Roald Dahl Story Company, and The Effect, in association with The Jamie Lloyd Company.
