The Toronto Symphony Orchestra makes its long-awaited return to the concert hall, with Gustavo Gimeno's highly-anticipated in-person début as Music Director. November's concerts promise to be emotional experiences as audiences return to Roy Thomson Hall for the first time since March 2020. 

Orlando Sings is Central Florida's newest professional arts organization. Led by Artistic and Executive Director Dr. Andrew Minear, Orlando Sings serves as an umbrella organization for a family of singing groups including two professional ensembles, the Orlando Sings Symphonic Chorus and the Solaria Singers. Upcoming programming also includes choral singing opportunities for retirees, people experiencing homelessness, immigrants, refugees, and the next generation of creatives.

Five Boroughs Music Festival, in partnership with the Sheen Center for Thought and Culture and Flushing Town Hall, presents the acclaimed Cramer Quartet in their premiere performances of the Seven Last Words Project.

Shriver Hall Concert Series will open its 2021-22 season with a performance by the lauded Miró Quartet. The in-person concert features Mozart's String Quartet in B-flat Major, K. 458, 'Hunt;' Beethoven's String Quartet in A minor, Op. 132; and the world premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw's Microfictions [Vol. I].

GRAMMY-winning violinist Keiko Tokunaga created INTERWOVEN in reaction to the change in social climate that occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An individual of the Asian heritage, Tokunaga was saddened by the news of racial injustice towards the AAPI community— but what was even more shocking to her was the lack of response from the other racial groups, and hesitation to speak up amongst her fellows.

GatherNYC has announced its fall 2021 season, to be held at the series’ new home at Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) (2 Columbus Circle). The fall season will begin on October 10 and run through December 19, 2021, with weekly concerts held on Sundays at 11am in The Theater at MAD, which is fully restored to its original mid-century design.

Over 90 concerts in uniquely curated series, including Quiet Please There's a Lady on Stage and TD Jazz Concerts: Jazz From Around the World to piano, vocal, chamber, and string concerts, featuring the world's top musicians, are planned for 2021.22.

In “Iphigenia,” two of the most visionary and daring musical voices of our time – composer Wayne Shorter, and librettist and performer esperanza spalding, have created a modern operatic re-imagining of a powerful ancient story. 

The percussion quartet known as Recap has announced the release of its debut album, Count to Five, out Friday, September 24 on Innova Recordings.

Following the success of the 2020 Emmy nominated TV special, “A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt at The Soraya,” Aida Cuevas and La Marisoul team up once again for another night celebrating the iconic musical legend -- this time joined by esteemed jazz vocalist Luciana Souza. 

In collaboration with Peabody Award winning broadcaster, producer, and director Elliott Forrest (WQXR), Myles Aronowitz, photographer and filmmaker, and internationally-exhibited photographer and environmental activist J Henry Fair, this cinematic experience transports listeners to a still, meditative space.

For the 23rd season of the LVP, Cabrera has selected dynamic works including all of Beethoven’s Symphonies interwoven with contemporary works by female composers including Joan Tower, Anna Clyne, Gabriela Lena Frank, Missy Mazzoli, Jessie Montgomery and Caroline Shaw. 

The season features works by acclaimed choreographers Andrea Miller, Pam Tanowitz, Elisa Monte, and Sir Robert Cohan and Graham classics Appalachian Spring, Steps in the Street, Diversion of Angels, and the newly recovered solo Immediate Tragedy.
