Sarasota Orchestra has announced changes to the upcoming Sarasota Music Festival (SMF), which will take place over eight days in June 2021. The festival will still include the four scheduled concerts and a lecture and will showcase faculty artists and former fellows.

New York City-based classical dance company Tom Gold Dance will perform at TurnPark Art Space, a sculpture garden and cultural center in West Stockbridge, MA, Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24; and in the amphitheater at Untermyer Park and Gardens in Yonkers, NY, Saturday, July 31, with a Sunday, August 1 rain date.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic today announced the world premiere of new solo instrumental works by the 2020/21 cohort of the Nancy and Barry Sanders Composer Fellowship Program (CFP), which are available to view online here. The class of 20 high school students were invited to write solo pieces for members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, which the musicians then recorded from their homes during the lockdown caused by COVID-19.
