As 2019 comes to a close, we're taking a look back on some of the most memorable performances of the year.

On Saturday, February 1 at 8:00 p.m. Emmy-nominated Broadway star Tituss Burgess makes his Carnegie Hall debut in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with a tribute concert to the music of Stephen Sondheim. Titled Take Me to the World, guest artists include Emmy Award winner Loretta Devine and Tony Award winners Jane Krakowski and Lillias White. Directed by Gabriel Vega Weissman with music direction by Charlie Rosen, the program focuses on the music of Sondheim - on the occasion of his upcoming 90th birthday - and its singular impact on Burgess's life and artistic trajectory.

The Drama League has revealed more of the artists who will be celebrating Sutton Foster at the organization's 36th Annual Benefit Gala next week. The Folger Shakespeare Library will host the DC premiere of Ghost Light, a new dark comedy by filmmakers John Stimpson and Geoffrey Taylor. Directed by Tony winner Judith Ivey, the episode will debut on the Playing on Air podcast this Sunday, May 26th.
