Lin-Manuel Miranda has announced that the Hamilton film is coming to Disney+ on July 3!

The entire original Broadway cast of Hamilton has reunited - virtually - for a performance of Alexander Hamilton on John Krasinski's YouTube series, Some Good News.

As we continue to adjust to a spring without Broadway, performers are uniting to make a difference. A slew of stars are offering up their friendly faces on Cameo- a way for fans to connect to artists they love- and donating the proceeds to BC/EFA's Emergency Assistance Fund. It was announced today that Lin-Manuel Miranda Tony-winning Broadway musical Hamilton would be released in theaters by Disney in 2021. According to Deadline, Disney paid $75 million for worldwide rights to the musical, which may be the largest acquisition to date. Disney has a commitment for a wide global theatrical release for the 2 hour, 40 minute movie, which was shot two weeks before the original cast left.

Lin-Manuel Miranda announced on Twitter today that Disney will present the HAMILTON movie featuring the original Broadway cast (filmed live on stage) October 15, 2021.

Today it was announced that The Cher Show on Broadway will play its final performance on August 18, 2019 following 34 previews and 296 regular performances. The National Tour will launch in Rochester, NY in October 2020.

Both went backstage after the show to meet the cast including stars Stephanie J. Block, Teal Wicks, Micaela Diamond and Jarrod Spector.

The original cast album to the Broadway hit The Cher Show will be released digitally on Friday, April 12th on Warner Bros. Records with the physical CD album release on Friday, May 10th and pre-order available today. Fans who pre-order the album will receive "If I Could Turn Back Time" instantly. The bio-musical, which opened on December 3rd at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York, is a celebration of the one and only Cher and her amazing six decade career and life story.
