Steven Reineke celebrated his tenth anniversary as Music Director of The New York Pops during the orchestra's current 2018-19 season. Steven is only the second person to hold the position of Music Director of The New York Pops, which was founded by Skitch Henderson in 1983, and is the largest independent pops orchestra in the United States and the only professional symphonic orchestra in New York City specializing in popular music. National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce final casting for the 30th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS along with The Songwriters Showcase and Midday Cabarets. The FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS takes place on Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26, 2018 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Festival events kick off on Monday, October 22 with Thank You, 30! a gala event to celebrate the 30th Annual Festival.

The Old Globe will expand San Diego's celebration of the holidays with a world premiere American musical about family, faith, and the magic of Christmas. The Globe is delighted to announce the complete cast and creative team for Looking for Christmas, the new Clint Black Christmas musical, inspired by the country music legend's 1995 chart-topping holiday album. With music and lyrics by Clint Black, book by James D. Sasser with Black, based on an idea by Sasser and Black, music supervision and music direction by Matt Hinkley, and directed by Kent Nicholson, Looking for Christmas will run November 11 - December 16, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $39.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run November 11-19. Opening night is Tuesday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m.

Three-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera, Tony Award winner Kelli O'Hara, and Emmy-nominated 'Westworld' star Jimmi Simpson have joined the lineup of special guest stars on Yellow Sound Label's special all-star recording THE OTHER JOSH COHEN: a musical with songs will be released this Friday, October 19
