Scoop! MISS SAIGON Revival Still Searching for Kim and Engineer; To Hold Auditions in NYC

BroadwayWorld.com has learned via a casting notice sent to agents this week that the upcoming West End revival of Miss Saigon is still searching for both 'Kim' and 'the Engineer'. The casting search continues after open auditions were held in London this July.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Daniels has committed to bringing the long-stalled Janis Joplin biopic to the big screen - with Amy Adams playing the bluesy rock legend. He also revealed he's also planning a film adaptation of the much-loved Boublil-Schonberg musical MISS SAIGON.

These notably include a collective nomination for Best Actress for all four young actresses who play the title role. Amongst other musical theatre productions Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and the National Theatre's London Road have five and four nominations respectively.
