The Catalyst Story Institute has announced its awards for outstanding achievement in independent episodic content at its 17th Annual Content Festival that took place from September 28th through October 1st.

Break out of your winter cocoons this April with Penobscot Theatre Company's Bee Parks and the Hornets. All are invited to join the Hive with children's indie rock sensation, Bee Parks and the Hornets, in a special virtual “dance-a-long” concert.

Rockland-based artist, musician and educator, Brittany Parker once again brings her enchanting storytelling to Penobscot Theatre Company audiences, with The Tiniest Librarian Finds a Valentine. This tiny puppet musical is offered as part of Penobscot Theatre Company's Digitus Theatrum season and will be streamed from February 7 – 28. 

This October, Penobscot Theatre Company has tricks and treats in store for audiences near and far. The country's Northeastern-most, professional theatre company will digitally present three unique offerings: Ghost Hunting in Bangor, ME, an interactive opera house ghost hunt; The Glitch Witch, a magical mystery musical; and Ghost Postcards from Maine, a bewitching audio experience.   

Penobscot Theatre Company announces its 47th Season. The company, which traditionally serves 40,000 audience members from September to August at its historic opera house home in downtown Bangor, Maine, will present an eclectic, full season, exclusively online. The innovative season, monikered, a?oeDigitus Theatruma?? launches in October.

Zodiac Math is an evening of intimate storytelling, scored by anachronistic alt-pop. Driven by family folklore of a childhood death curse, Elizabeth May explores questions of sexual identity and twin magic. She's endlessly searching for the missing half of a broken heart necklace, and laying herself bare in a dark comedic ritual that transforms the audience into her imaginary friends. Zodiac Math was developed as part of The New Collectives' Daily Development Workshop at IRT Theatre.
