Cast Set for SHREK THE MUSICAL at Stages Theatre Company

Stages Theatre Company (STC) presents Shrek The Musical, directed by Artistic Director Sandy Boren-Barrett. Based on the Oscar-winning Dreamworks Animation Film, Shrek The Musical, is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs, and the beloved characters you know and love to life on our stage!

As the story begins, "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek..." you will follow the tale of the unlikely hero who finds himself on a journey with a wise-cracking Donkey, a feisty princesses, a short-tempered villain, a cookie with an attitude, and a dozen of our favorite fairy tale misfits. This 60-minute version is perfect for kids and adults of all ages! Remember there is more to the story than meets the ears!

Music by Jeanine Tesori, and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire. Originally produced on Broadway by DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions.

Shrek The Musical opens FRIDAY, June 23rd and runs through Sunday, July 30th, 2017, and is perfect for all ages. Tickets are on sale now! Visit www.stagestheatre.org for specific performance dates and times, or call the Box Office at (952) 979-1111, option 4, Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults; $14 for seniors, ages 60+; $12 for children, ages 5 to 17.
