Broadway In Chicago and The Nederlander Organization have announced the world premiere cast for the Broadway-bound ONCE UPON A ONE MORE TIME, a new musical set to the hits of Britney Spears.

With college theatre program auditions just around the corner, we're highlighting some of the most prestigious theatre programs from all across the country. Today we're chatting with faculty from the University of Southern California's School of Dramatic Arts about how their program is adaptable to changing trends and how it pairs professional training with a traditional college experience. NBC has ordered a second season of its freshman comedy GREAT NEWS, starring two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin (PIPPIN, MY FAVORITE YEAR.) Season 2 will consist of 13 episodes.

Broadway stars and a host of musical presentations are on tap for the upcoming 2016-17 primetime television season. Included in THE LINEUP will be new series starring HAMILTON's Christopher Jackson, FROZEN's Kristen Bell and BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY star Stephen Pasquale.

Riding the momentum of a highly successful 2015-16 season, NBC announced today a new fall lineup for the 2016-17 primetime television season that builds upon a remarkably stable schedule.

Along with five sophomore series returning to the schedule, the network will also introduce several new series to the lineup, starring some of Broadway's favorite stars!

TBS has renewed its new sitcom hit Ground Floor for a second season. Created by Emmy(R) nominees Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town, Scrubs, Clone High) and Greg Malins (2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother), the series stars Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect), Briga Heelan (Cougar Town) and John C. McGinley (Scrubs). Lawrence, Jeff Ingold (upcoming Surviving Jack, Undateable) and Jeff Astrof (The New Adventures of Old Christine) serve as executive producers on Ground Floor, which is being produced for TBS by Lawrence's Doozer, in association with Warner Horizon Television. TBS has ordered 10 episodes for the second season, which is slated to begin in late 2014.

TBS has chalked up solid growth this summer, driven by strong performances from its original sitcom Sullivan & Son, its new hit Deal With It and basic cable's #1 off-net comedy, The Big Bang Theory.

TBS has ordered third seasons of its hit original sitcoms Sullivan & Son, starring popular comedian Steve Byrne, and Men at Work, starring Danny Masterson, Michael Cassidy, Adam Busch, Meredith Hagner and James Lesure. TBS has also ordered a second season of the hit series Deal With It, from Howie Mandel's Alevy Productions.

TBS has greenlit Ground Floor, a new workplace comedy with a romantic twist written by Emmy(R) nominees Bill Lawrence (Cougar Town, Scrubs, Clone High) and Greg Malins (2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother). The series stars Skylar Astin (Pitch Perfect), Briga Heelan (Cougar Town) and John C. McGinley (Scrubs). Students from Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) recently received several accolades including Outstanding Achievement in Music, Outstanding Student Director, Outstanding Student Choreographer and Outstanding Performance in the nation-wide Junior Theater Festival, January 18 - 20, 2013.

Oscar and Tony Award-winning composer Alan Menken, director Jeff Calhoun and producer Thomas Schumacher will join Kara Lindsay, Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Mike Faist, stars of the Tony award-winning Broadway musical, Newsies, for a special presentation to 4,000 students and teachers representing 82 groups from 23 states at the 2013 Junior Theater Festival, it was announced today by Theater of the Stars President Nick Manos and Timothy Allen McDonald, founding Chairman of iTheatrics. The Junior Theater Festival is being held January 18, 19 and 20 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta.
