Here for a good time, and a long time, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man has announced the production will extend its run at Chicago’s Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Avenue, through July 23, 2022.

Voted Best Comedy for Couples, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, presented by Matt Murphy and Shawn Nightingale, has announced the cast for its Chicago debut. The show will star Adam Fane as Dan, Emma Jo Boyden as Robyn, and Bradley Allen Meyer as Stefan.

The world premiere of the new play THE MESSENGER at Pioneer Theatre Company is an incredibly timely, elegantly written intellectual and emotional reflection of the state of our world.

Becoming Off-Broadway's Longest-Running Comedy in New York and launching a national tour before making its Las Vegas debut, this “uproariously funny” show is finally bringing its 'big laughs and naughty fun' to Chicago at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Avenue, in the heart of Lincoln Park. Previewing April 8th and opening April 21st for a limited engagement, this interactive romantic comedy takes the audience on a hilarious and wild ride where no topic is taboo and the insider 'tips' come straight from the source: a gay man.  

Following a celebrated run in 2018, Human's Best Friend, the immersive experience vibrantly designed for dogs and dog lovers returns to NYC in December for a 4-week holiday themed pop-up.  Located at 875 Washington Street in the Meatpacking District, Human's Best Friend will feature vignettes designed to capture the perfect festive photo moment of humans and their furry best friends.

Legendary composer/arranger Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, Jagged Little Pill) has teamed up with TodayTix at Tavern to celebrate the release of his debut studio album, Reflect. The 2-time Tony Award winner will sit down at the piano while special guests perform songs from the album, along with iconic numbers from some of Tom’s most well-known musicals.

Jason Gotay, who currently stars as teacher Rafa Caparros on Gossip Girl, will take the stage on August 2nd. Gotay  previously appeared in Love Life with Anna Kendrick and played one of the Lost Boys on NBC’s Peter Pan Live! His  Broadway credits include Bring It On The Musical and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.  

Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill, Anastasia, Wicked) and Alex Newell (Once on This Island, Glee, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist) are the latest Broadway stars to join the outdoor summer concert series TodayTix at Tavern, while Ariana DeBose (Hamilton, Steven Spielberg's West Side Story) returns for an encore show.

MasterVoices continues its 2019-20 season on Thursday April 2, at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Artistic Director Ted Sperling will lead a concert staging of Bizet's Carmen in its original Opéra Comique version, with dialogue rather than recitative, sung in English translation by award-winning Broadway lyricist Sheldon Harnick. His translation of Carmen was commissioned and premiered by the Houston Grand Opera in 1981 and served as the English text for Peter Brook's ingenious 90-minute La tragédie de Carmen which was performed at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in New York in 1984. The MasterVoices performance will mark the New York premiere of the full translation.

Even if, like me, you have never seen an episode of the TV series, no doubt the fame of the real-life actors on the show, each of whom celebrate their fame in song during "The One Where We Make a Million Dollars an Episode," makes this show an exceedingly fun time thanks to the skill of the talented, triple-threat cast.

After the critical and commercial success of the interactive culinary theater experiences How Do You Hug A Tiger? and Unleavened: A Seder, StoryCourse will pair culture with culinary in celebration of WorldPride and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots (Stonewall50) this June. Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind the Broadway-bound production Be More Chill and the Artistic Director of Brooklyn-based dance company The Chase Brock Experience, announced today that the company will hold its annual gala following a special performance of The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes on Monday, January 7 at 7:00pm. This year's gala will honor Denise Roberts Hurlin, the Founding Director of Dancers Responding to AIDS (a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS), a member of the CBE Advisory Board, and a former company member of Paul Taylor Dance Company.

Based on the international best-selling book of the same title, this romantic comedy takes the audience on a hilarious and wild ride where no topic is taboo and the insider tips come straight from the source a gay man. Set at a local university auditorium, shy and studious Robyn is the moderator of the English department's monthly meet the authors event. This month's featured author is Dan Anderson of Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, but with the help of hunky stage assistant Stefan, Dan turns the event into a highly theatrical, audience interactive, sex tip seminar.
