Human's Best Friend Pop-up Returns To Nyc For Holiday Season

Following a celebrated run in 2018, Human's Best Friend, the immersive experience vibrantly designed for dogs and dog lovers returns to NYC in December for a 4-week holiday themed pop-up.  Located at 875 Washington Street in the Meatpacking District, Human's Best Friend will feature vignettes designed to capture the perfect festive photo moment of humans and their furry best friends.

Tom Kitt to Celebrate Release of New Album With TODAYTIX AT TAVERN Concert

Legendary composer/arranger Tom Kitt (Next to Normal, Jagged Little Pill) has teamed up with TodayTix at Tavern to celebrate the release of his debut studio album, Reflect. The 2-time Tony Award winner will sit down at the piano while special guests perform songs from the album, along with iconic numbers from some of Tom’s most well-known musicals.

Jason Gotay Will Perform at TodayTix at Tavern Next Week

Jason Gotay, who currently stars as teacher Rafa Caparros on Gossip Girl, will take the stage on August 2nd. Gotay  previously appeared in Love Life with Anna Kendrick and played one of the Lost Boys on NBC’s Peter Pan Live! His  Broadway credits include Bring It On The Musical and Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.  

Alex Newell, Derek Klena, and Ariana DeBose Join TODAYTIX AT TAVERN July Lineup

Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill, Anastasia, Wicked) and Alex Newell (Once on This Island, Glee, Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist) are the latest Broadway stars to join the outdoor summer concert series TodayTix at Tavern, while Ariana DeBose (Hamilton, Steven Spielberg's West Side Story) returns for an encore show.

Mastervoices Presents CARMEN With Harnick's English Translation

MasterVoices continues its 2019-20 season on Thursday April 2, at the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Artistic Director Ted Sperling will lead a concert staging of Bizet's Carmen in its original Opéra Comique version, with dialogue rather than recitative, sung in English translation by award-winning Broadway lyricist Sheldon Harnick. His translation of Carmen was commissioned and premiered by the Houston Grand Opera in 1981 and served as the English text for Peter Brook's ingenious 90-minute La tragédie de Carmen which was performed at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in New York in 1984. The MasterVoices performance will mark the New York premiere of the full translation.

Storycourse Announces PRIDETABLE An Interactive Immersive Culinary Theater Experience

THE CHASE BROCK EXPERIENCE Will Hold 2018 Gala Honoring Denise Roberts Hurlin

Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind the Broadway-bound production Be More Chill and the Artistic Director of Brooklyn-based dance company The Chase Brock Experience, announced today that the company will hold its annual gala following a special performance of The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes on Monday, January 7 at 7:00pm. This year's gala will honor Denise Roberts Hurlin, the Founding Director of Dancers Responding to AIDS (a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS), a member of the CBE Advisory Board, and a former company member of Paul Taylor Dance Company.

Casting Announced For THE GIRL WITH THE ALKALINE EYES

Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind the Broadway-bound production Be More Chill and the Brooklyn-based Company The Chase Brock Experience (CBE), is thrilled to announce the casting for the world premiere of his newest creation, The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes. A futuristic A.I. thriller set in the high-tech lab of a young entrepreneur, Troy, the piece centers on Oliver, a young, hot-shot coder who has been hard at work on a secret project: Co, an extraordinarily lifelike creation that will change not only the life of his creator, but the lives of everyone around him.

Choreographer Chase Brock To Debut Of First Evening Length Piece, THE GIRL WITH THE ALKALINE EYES

Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind the Broadway-bound production Be More Chill and the Artistic Director of Brooklyn-based dance company The Chase Brock Experience, is thrilled to announce the world premiere of his newest creation, The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes. This evening-length dance narrative - the first Mr. Brock has created for his company - will play a strictly limited 17-performance engagement at New York City's Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, Located between 9th & 10th Avenues) beginning Friday, December 28, 2018.

Based on the international best-selling book of the same title, this romantic comedy takes the audience on a hilarious and wild ride where no topic is taboo and the insider tips come straight from the source a gay man. Set at a local university auditorium, shy and studious Robyn is the moderator of the English department's monthly meet the authors event. This month's featured author is Dan Anderson of Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, but with the help of hunky stage assistant Stefan, Dan turns the event into a highly theatrical, audience interactive, sex tip seminar.
