Chase Brock, the contemporary choreographer behind the Broadway-bound production Be More Chill and the Brooklyn-based Company The Chase Brock Experience (CBE), is thrilled to announce the casting for the world premiere of his newest creation, The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes. A futuristic A.I. thriller set in the high-tech lab of a young entrepreneur, Troy, the piece centers on Oliver, a young, hot-shot coder who has been hard at work on a secret project: Co, an extraordinarily lifelike creation that will change not only the life of his creator, but the lives of everyone around him.

The first evening-length dance narrative Mr. Brock has created for his company, The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes will star longtime CBE member Yukiko Kashiki (The King and I on the West End, Disney's The Lion King in Germany and The Netherlands) as Co and CBE's Travante S. Baker as Troy. The newest member of CBE and longtime Mark Morris Dance Group member, Spencer Ramirez, will perform the feature role of Oliver, while CBE dancers Jane Abbott, James Koroni (Jonah Bokaer Choreography) and Amber Barbee Pickens (Cirque du Soleil's Paramour) will perform in soloist roles.

CBE founding member Ryan Jackson (currently dividing his time between the company of Broadway's Wicked and the makeup department of Broadway's The Lion King) will stand-by for the male roles and CBE's Courtney Ortiz (Finding Neverland) will stand-by for the female roles.

Set to an original, commissioned score by Eric Dietz, performed live on a double-trio of piano/Roli Seaboard, violin and cello with pre-recorded electronics (including Siri), The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes will feature scenic design by Drama Desk nominee Jason Sherwood (The View Upstairs), costume design by Drama Desk nominee Loren Shaw (Restoration Comedy), lighting design by Drama Desk nominee Brian Tovar (Tamar of the River), and projection design by Mr. Brock's Be More Chill collaborator Alex Basco Koch.

The Girl with the Alkaline Eyes will play a strictly limited 17-performance engagement at New York City's Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, Located between 9th & 10th Avenues) beginning Friday, December 28, 2018.
