Broadway's Sierra Boggess and filmmaker Stefano Da Fre are now married! 

Broadway veteran Sierra Boggess has shared some happy news from Finland! The soprano just announced her engagement to filmmaker Stefano Da Fre. BroadwayWorld sends our congratulations to the happy couple.

“An evening with Sierra Boggess” at Musical Theater Heritage’s Quixotic Theater is a delightful way to spend any evening. Sierra was Andrew Lloyd Webber’s choice to create the role of Christine in the original production of the “Phantom” sequel “Love Never Dies.” American audiences outside of New York will know her opposite Phantom Ramin Karimloo from the PBS twenty-fifth anniversary concert version of “Phantom.”

The Art House 2021 season will kick-off in Provincetown. The Broadway @ The Art House series brings Sierra Boggess, Broadway’s original Ariel in The Little Mermaid and a frequent Christine Daaé in Phantom of the Opera and its sequel Love Never Dies, on July 2 & 3 with Seth Rudetsky as pianist & host

A moving new video has been released to honor the memory of those the Broadway community has lost from June 2019 through December 2020. It was Produced and Conceived by Mike Karns and Steven Tartick, Directed by Raúl Esparza and Music Directed by Mary-Mitchell Campbell. The  Music was Produced by Benedict Braxton-Smit, with Vocals by Sierra Boggess and Raul Esparza.

Sierra Boggess is known for originating the roles of Ariel in The Little Mermaid on Broadway and Christine in Love Never Dies in the West End, as well as multiple stints playing her in The Phantom of the Opera. Most recently she portrayed Cinderella in the Hollywood Bowl's production of Into the Woods, and also in new musical Ever After. She spoke to BroadwayWorld UK about her upcoming solo concerts at Cadogan Hall on Sunday 2

Sierra Boggess is looking forward to her Detroit debut on Saturday as part of the Cabaret 313 Concert Series. Broadway's original Ariel (The Little Mermaid) and Rebecca Steinberg (It Shoulda Been You); and Andrew Lloyd Webber's favorite Christine (The Phantom of the Opera) is bringing a Broadway-packed repertoire of songs for two shows, at 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Max M. And Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center in Detroit's Orchestra Hall.
