Hannah Shankman Will Star as Fanny Brice in FUNNY GIRL National Tour

Hannah Shankman will take over the role of Fanny Brice when the tour opens in Seattle on September 24th, 2024. She joins returning cast members Melissa Manchester as Mrs. Brice, Stephen Mark Lukas as Nick Arnstein, Izaiah Montaque Harris as Eddie Ryan, Walter Coppage as Florenz Ziegfeld, Leah Platt as Emma/Mrs. Nadler, Christine Bunuan as Mrs. Meeker, and David Foley Jr. as Tom Keeney.

Review: PIPPIN: Growing Up Is Hard To Do

City Theater Company gets their Irish up for the 21st season, opening in December with a reimagined staging of James Joyce's The Dead. Richard Nelson won the Tony Award for Best Musical Book in 2000 for his adaptation of the short story that closes out Joyce's seminal collection The Dubliners. The music is by Shaun Davey, with lyrics conceived and adapted by Richard Nelson and Shaun Davey.

City Theater Company's 20th Anniversary season closes with a dose of hip-hop hilarity in the form of The Bomb-itty of Errors, an "ad-rap-tation" of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors. The play was written by Jordan Allen-Dutton, Jason Catalano, GQ, and Erik Weiner, with music by J.A.Q.

Fountain Gallery to Present 100 Original Artworks, 6/7

Fountain Gallery, the premier venue in New York City representing artists with mental illness, will exhibit 100 original works for sale at the 10th End of Annual Meeting Season Celebration on Friday, June 7, 2013, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event will take place at Ellen Philip Associates, located at 134 West 26th Street in Manhattan.
